Native Seeds/SEARCH Conservation Center
Join Watershed Management Group and Native Seed/SEARCH in an exciting partnership as we install two steel culvert cisterns at Native Seeds/SEARCH Conservation Center.
These cisterns, funded by grants from Tucson Water, will collect rainwater from the buildings on site, supporting native vegetation as well as demonstration gardens and food production. The work will be completed over the course of two public workshops on Saturday, January 26 and Saturday, February 9 from 9 am - 2 pm. Workshops will be lead by WMG instructors and cistern experts Adam Schwartz and Mark Ragel, who will provide a hands-on education in the design and construction of steel culvert cisterns.
Advanced sign-up is required for each workshop day and space is limited.
