Registration is closed for this event
Saturday, October 13 from 8:00 a.m -1:00 p.m. Near Mountain and Glenn

For the third event in Watershed Management Groups Fiesta of Green Infrastructure workshops, the Green-living Co-op will be visiting mid town. Instructor Adam Schwartz will lead this residential demonstration project which will include the installation of two curb cuts to allow stormwater runoff from the street to flow into infiltration basins. This will help beautify green and shade the neighborhood, as well as demonstrate the potential of green infrastructure for reducing flooding problems and remediating aquatic pollution. In addition to helping sculpt the basins participants will plant trees to provide shade to the street, and provide screening from the street. Workshop leader Adam Schwartz will educate participants about Green Infrastructure design and legal requirements, as well as post workshop care of installations.
